Savoury Saturday- Hana Korean Restaurant

On an impromptu dinner arrangement with my brother who had just flown in from working around Europe for the week, we had about an hour for a quick catch up & to grab some grub before we had to catch the train home.

Originally my brother took us to a Thai restaurant, but it had a long wait so we walked up a few doors and stumbled upon this fantastic Korean Restaurant called Hana. It's a family run business that had a 5 for hygiene from trip advisor, Michelin award 2014, and another 2014 award.

Hana in Korean means the number one and I would definitely rate this restaurant highly! It had relaxed environment with simple but authentic decor. The service was speedy, polite, and the server was confident and well-versed about the menu giving us recommendations. The food was delicious, we all had BBQ beef with lettuce wraps and side order of steamed rice. I had Korean pear juice with bits- interesting & refreshing. And the others had the Korean beer Hite, which went down well.

If you're in Clapham Junction & fancy something a bit different or are going out for a meal where you'd like to be able to chat & hear each other this restaurant is lovely. It also has a setting intimate enough that it would make a lovely date night!
